HR Mandi Bhav News: The stranded buyers of Supertech Ecovillage-2 in Greater Noida West are unhappy with the new proposal presented by the Interim Resolution Professional (IRP) to complete the project. In this proposal, additional money is being demanded from the owners themselves to complete the incomplete work.

People say that he has been struggling for the house for many years and is now also giving additional money to complete the project.

He absolutely won't do that. Under this proposal, an additional amount of Rs 400 per square foot will be demanded from 1500 houses and Rs 1200 per square foot from 2100 houses.

It should be known that the Supertech Ecovillage-2 project has been going on in the bankruptcy process for the last two years. This project is being run under the supervision of the IRP appointed by the court two years ago and work is underway to complete it.

In December, the project's IRP Hitesh Goyal was approached by a real estate company with an offer to complete it. It was rejected by buyers last December, but IRPC has sent it back to the buyers association. IP will present this proposal in the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) on 12 February.

what is the proposal

With the Ecovillage-2 project stuck in insolvency proceedings, a third party real estate company has proposed to liquidate it. Buyers are upset with this proposal coming forward.

Apart from this, it is proposed to charge an additional Rs 400 per square foot from the home owners who are living in the house and Rs 1200 per square foot from the home owners stuck waiting for the house. NCLT is yet to take a decision on this proposal.

The proposal will be placed in NCLT on 12 February

IP has submitted a proposal to NCLA. It will be presented in NCLAT on 12th February. After this, guidance is expected from the court. The court will take a decision considering the status of the project, the proposal for completion and the side of the buyers.

protesting home buyers

IRP had sent us this proposal for the first time in December last month, but it was rejected. IP has again sent this proposal, with some amendments.

We are staunchly opposed to it. This proposal will not be accepted in any way. Every one of the two thousand buyers associated with the association is ready to vote against it if voting takes place on it.

Under this proposal, Rs 400 is being asked from those who are living in their homes and Rs 1200 from those who have not got homes.

No buyer will be ready to spend that much money. In fact, some people have been stuck in it for almost twelve years. Banks are giving loans and house rent. Buyers will get this flat at double the rate when they get the house by paying so much extra money.

Several other projects in the city are also in the bankruptcy process, but none of them have sought additional funding from buyers.

Now why will the buyers of Ecovillage-2 allow this to happen? IRP has again sent this proposal after amendment, which is strongly opposed by all the buyers. If buyers are living in their home, they will not be paying any extra money.

What did IRP say?

IPR Hitesh Goyal told that the project is stuck. Efforts to complete this are still ongoing. Many companies have seen this work in two years.

Its financial condition has been analyzed. Only one company has sent the proposal. We have now decided to place it in NCLAT after amendment.

The court has to decide on this, and we will put the biological response in the court. After that, whatever is decided, work will be done accordingly.
