Now the department officials will charge a fine from those who violate this rule and can also declare them guilty and send them to jail.

Rajasthan Roadways Bus Booking: Rajasthan Roadways administration has implemented the passenger fault rule, under which strict action will be taken against passengers found without tickets. Under this rule, a fine will be charged from the passengers.
Now the flying squads of roadways will take strict action against those who travel without ticket in roadways buses. Till now only the conductor was considered guilty for this, but now along with the conductor, the passenger without ticket will also be guilty.
To prevent ticketless travel in buses, Rajasthan Roadways has implemented the Passenger Fault Rule. Under this, if a passenger is found travelling without ticket, the flying squad will charge a fine of 10 times the fare amount or a maximum of two thousand rupees.
Now action will be taken against the passenger
Earlier, action was taken against the conductor for travelling without ticket, but now the passenger will also be held guilty. Before the passenger fault rule came into force, the flying squad used to take action only against the conductor and put a red remark.
Now under the new rule, if a passenger is found without a ticket and refuses to pay the fine, the flying squad can file a police complaint against that passenger.
The passenger is responsible for showing the ticket
If a passenger does not get a ticket while travelling in a roadways bus or the conductor does not give him a ticket, then the passenger will have to bear the loss. According to the rules of roadways, it is the responsibility of the passenger to show the ticket.
