Actually, Suraj Tiwari had lost both his legs and his right hand in a train accident, but he did not let his disability hinder him in passing the country's most prestigious UPSC Civil Services Examination.

Body parts lost in train accident

Suraj Tiwari, a resident of Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh, lost both his legs, his right hand and two fingers of his left hand after falling from a moving train in Ghaziabad in 2017. 

Let us tell you that while Suraj was undergoing treatment at AIIMS after the train accident, his brother allegedly died by suicide in May 2017. 

Despite this, 29-year-old Suraj, who was doing MA in Russian language from Jawaharlal Nehru University, despite so many difficulties, passed the UPSC Civil Services Examination in his first attempt and secured All India 917th rank.

'His three fingers are enough to be successful': Sooraj's father

Expressing happiness over Sooraj's success, his father Ramesh Tiwari said that his son has made him proud and 'his three fingers are enough to be successful' .

' After clearing UPSC CSE 2022, Suraj's father said, "My son has made me proud. He is very brave. His three fingers are enough to succeed."

'He never gave up': Sooraj's mother

Sooraj's mother said that her son is 'very brave' and has worked very hard to become successful in his life. His mother says, "Sooraj never gave up and worked hard to succeed in his life. He always tells his younger siblings to work hard."
