Uttar Pradesh News: The maximum number of expressways in the country have been constructed in Uttar Pradesh. Now UP is going to make another record in its name. For the first time in the country, a project to generate electricity is being started on an expressway in Uttar Pradesh. 

A network of highways and expressways is being built across the country. This also leads to a rapid increase in road facilities and land prices. Statistics show that wherever an expressway or highway has been built, land prices have increased rapidly.

The prices of surrounding land will increase rapidly

Recently a new expressway has also been opened in Uttar Pradesh, on both sides of which work has started to install solar projects. The expressway has started, but the government will start buying land again for the solar project (Expressway Solar Project). 

This will increase the prices of the surrounding land very rapidly. To connect major projects with green energy, it has been decided to install solar panels on both sides of the expressway. Under this, the land has been selected and the process of land acquisition will be started soon.

The picture of 100 villages of UP will change 

We are talking about the Bundelkhand Solar Expressway in Uttar Pradesh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recently inaugurated this expressway. Statistics show that wherever the expressway passes, there is a huge jump in land prices. This highway is about 296 kilometers long from Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh to Chitrakoot district. 

It was built in four lanes and was completed in 28 months. After the opening of Bundelkhand Solar Expressway, the government is now preparing to install solar projects on both sides. This will be the first expressway in the country on which solar projects will be installed on both sides.

One lakh houses in UP will get electricity

This project will be completed by Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Authority (UPIDA). Because Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Authority is responsible for completing this work. For your information, let us tell you that the target is to generate 550 MW of electricity. 

Which will provide light to one lakh houses. And the project will be completed with public-private cooperation. There is a strip between the main road and service lane of the 15 to 20 meter wide expressway, on which there is a plan to generate electricity by installing solar panels. This project will be able to light up 1 lakh houses in Uttar Pradesh. 

The land has been identified

The government is doing a lot for this expressway. The Yogi government of UP is making big preparations. The government has also identified a lot of land to install solar panels on both sides of the expressway, for which land acquisition will start soon. Obviously, with the completion of this project, the prices of land on both sides of the expressway will also increase. Also, eight solar power developers have completed their presentation, due to which work on this project will start.

100 villages are going to be silver 

Today we are going to tell you about the expressway passing through seven districts. Around 100 villages will directly benefit from the construction of the solar project along the expressway. 

Rs 6 crore can be saved every year by using solar power. 1 lakh houses in 100 villages located along this expressway will get electricity. Jalaun district will benefit the most because land of 64 villages has to be acquired. 

This includes 9 villages of Chitrakoot, 28 villages of Banda, 8 villages of Mahoba, 29 villages of Hamirpur, 37 villages of Auraiya and 7 villages of Etawah. Land of these villages has to be acquired.
