Here in UP, 14 roads will be brightened for Rs 345 lakhs, travel will become easier
UP News: The bad roads of Chitrakootdham division will soon get some relief. The state government has decided to repair the roads. Rs 345 lakh has been sanctioned for this.

HR Mandi Bhav: Most of the roads in the division are rare. In place of asphalt, there is mud and in some places there are many potholes. Rainy days are the most difficult.
Vehicle accidents also often occur amid potholes and waterlogging. Officials of the Public Works Department said that twenty-four roads in the four districts will also be renovated soon. Initially work will be done on the oldest roads. This will facilitate commuting to a great extent.
In Banda district, Banda-Rajghat link road, Mawai-Gadaria-Hamirpur bypass, Atarhat-Khaptihan-Sadi link road and Arbai link road will be renovated for Rs 95.83 lakh. The condition of all these routes is such that drivers do not know when they will meet with an accident.
Due to non-repair of these roads for years, huge potholes have formed. The repair of these roads will also provide ease of transportation for the population of 400 to 500 villages.
Gadri-Devangana road (from Bahilpurwa railway station to Ohan Dam) will also be renovated at a cost of Rs 63.75 lakh in Chitrakoot district. Told that the people of the district have been demanding the repair of these roads for a long time. The condition of the roads also causes problems to people coming from far away places.
Para Kaithi-Gevdi-Kiswahi Highway, Jarao-Kharakhar Highway and Sarila Canal Harsundi Highway will be renovated in Hamirpur state at a cost of Rs 96.63 lakh.
In Mahoba district, the repair work of Kabrai Station Feeder Road, Mahoba Patha Road, Kulpahar Naugaon to Thurat Pachara-Amanpur-Bhujpura Road and Jamala-Kinhoa-Bhatevra Gaurihar Road will be done at a cost of Rs 88.85 lakh.
Along with giving permission to repair the roads, the government has also released an amount of Rs 2 crore for various roads. State Finance Controller, Public Works Department, Rajesh Singh has sent this letter to the District Magistrate and Public Works Superintending Engineer. In the letter, orders have been given to complete the roads by March 30.
