Haryana Vidhan Sabha Chunav: Voting for the assembly elections in Haryana has ended. BJP is expected to score a hat-trick in the Haryana assembly elections, while Congress is hoping to return to power in the state after 10 years. Voting has been done on all 90 seats. Overall, 61 percent voting has taken place.

61 percent voting took place in Haryana assembly elections on Saturday. According to the Election Commission, voting for the 90-member assembly, which took place from 7 am to 6 pm, was largely peaceful, except for minor clashes. Haryana Assembly Elections live: People were waiting for this day to bring Congress government in Haryana: Selja
Senior Congress leader Kumari Selja on Saturday said the people of Haryana were waiting for the assembly elections to change the current government in the state and bring her party (Congress) to power.
Talking to reporters after casting her vote in Hisar district, she said, "We have seen this trend among people even before the Lok Sabha elections, they (people) were waiting for this day to change the regime and elect a Congress government."
The Congress MP from Sirsa appealed to voters to exercise their franchise to decide their future in Haryana. When asked if she would become the chief minister if the Congress wins, Selja said it was for the party high command to decide. She said the party high command would decide after the results are out.
Answering another question, Selja said she did not need to talk about her seniority as it was clear and everyone knew. She also said that the Congress would form the government in the state. Selja said, "People have made up their mind that Congress will form the next government.
" On a question related to the alleged internal strife in the Haryana unit of the Congress, she said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) should first organize itself. She alleged that the leaders of the ruling party have been fighting among themselves for the last 10 years. On BJP leader Ashok Tanwar joining the Congress, Selja said that people keep coming and going during elections.
