Haryana News: Administration takes strict action after school bus accident, most schools declare holiday
After the school bus accident in Mahendragarh district on April 11, the administration is now in a mood of strictness. The administration is checking the buses with immediate effect. So that it can be ascertained whether they are fully following the safety standards or not. Along with this, the administration is issuing challans and impounding the buses of private schools.

In a press release issued by District Magistrate Monica Gupta, it was told that to ensure the safety of school children, the district administration is regularly inspecting the buses of private schools. So far, 284 checkings have been done by the district administration. During this, 46 buses have been impounded and 99 buses have been challaned.
Police is doing inspection
Giving this information, Deputy Commissioner Monica Gupta said that the committees formed by the district administration are constantly inspecting. According to the Safe School Vehicle Policy, rules and regulations will be followed in all school buses. Wherever deficiencies are found in this, they will be removed immediately.
Angry at the action of the administration
At the same time, private school operators are also seen angry with this action of the district administration. The operators allege that the new buses brought by their schools have not yet received permanent numbers. Despite this, the department is continuously challaning. On the other hand, school operators allege that challan is done for buses running on the road, but now the department is challaning buses parked in the school campus and villages to cover up its misdeeds, which is wrong.
Transport department is being strict
If just a few percent of the strictness being shown by the Transport Department, Police and local administration regarding buses was shown earlier, perhaps the incident of April 11 could have been avoided. At the same time, due to the strictness being shown by the district administration on private school buses, most schools have been declared closed for the next two days.
