There has been a slight decline in the price of gold in the bullion market. Today 24 carat gold became cheaper by Rs 6 per 10 grams (aaj ka sone ka bhav) and opened at Rs 71321.
Whereas, silver became costlier by Rs 508 and opened at Rs 80227 per kg. This fall in the price of gold (latest gold rate) has happened from Kanpur, Kolkata, Indore, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Delhi, Ahmedabad to Chennai.
On 19 April, gold was at an all-time high of Rs 73596. In this context, today gold has become cheaper by Rs 2156 per 10 grams (10 gram sone ka bhav). Whereas, silver has become cheaper by Rs 3100 per kg from the all-time high of Rs 83632 per kg on 16 April.
According to the latest rate released by IBJA today, on May 2, 23 carat gold became cheaper by Rs 6 and came to Rs 71035 per 10 grams. The price of 22 carat gold fell by Rs 6 per 10 grams and opened at Rs 65330 per 10 grams. (Gold-Silver Rates)
Whereas, the rate of 18 carat gold has also become cheaper by Rs 4 and has come down to Rs 53491. On the other hand, the price of 14 carat gold has come down by Rs 3. Now it is at Rs 41723.
This will be the price of gold including GST
3% GST has to be paid on gold and silver. That means, as per today's rate, 2139 rupees will be charged as GST on 24 carat gold. Its rate including GST will be Rs 73460 per 10 grams.
The price of 23 carat gold will also increase by Rs 2131 to Rs 73166 with GST and the price of 22 carat (24 carat sone ka bhav) will increase by Rs 1959 to Rs 67289 per ten grams. Whereas, the price of 18 carat gold including GST will become Rs 53491.
