But the network troubles. There is a relief news for the consumers that the smart prepaid electricity meter has not found connection due to network problem. 

The company has decided to install push buttons in the meters. Consumers will be able to get electricity for 48 hours at the press of a push button. 

Actually, about 26 lakh smart meters have been installed in the state. Smart meters are constantly going through networking problems. 

There is a power cut even though there is money in the meter. The company is continuously receiving complaints that there is money in the meter but electricity does not work. The company has also complained that when the meter runs out of money, power is not restored for several hours. 

To deal with this, the company has ordered the meter installing companies to install push buttons. The consumer will not have to face power shortage for 48 hours by pressing the button. Only then will their meter be recharged again.

Blue tooth will also be available

Smart meter also has blue tooth. In case of network problem, consumers will be able to turn on the smart meter by connecting it through Blue Tooth. Consumers can activate their smart meters using Blue Tooth. Despite this, the work has just begun. Customers will have to wait for a few days.
