He was presenting the government's side after discussing the demand for grants of the Road Construction Department in the Bihar Assembly on Thursday. 

The opposition walked out of the House protesting the government's reply. After the government's response, Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav passed the grant proposal of Rs 5702 crore 80 lakh 56 thousand by voice vote.

Database of 13,500 bridges will be ready

At present there is a proposal to have a four-lane expressway in the state, which the Bihar government has requested the Central government to make six-lane, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha told the House. 

He said that the Bridge Maintenance Management Guide has been prepared keeping in mind the 13,500 big and small bridges in the state, the objective of which is to ensure better maintenance of the bridges. 

It will help engineers in maintenance of bridges and create databases like health cards on the basis of which further action will be taken.

Gardens on both sides of JP Ganga Path

He said that a green area of ​​50 hectares will be created on both sides of the 7 km JP Ganga Path between Digha and Gandhi Maidan in the capital Patna, 90 percent of which will be green. River-front, park, botanical garden, food court, cycle track, walking path, parking etc. 

will be built with modern facilities in 10 percent area. Work on this scheme has started. Also, there will be 4,000 parking spaces for four-wheelers and 13,000 for two-wheelers. It can be of special use in Chhath Puja.
