Samsung has surprised fans by announcing Galaxy Ring in its Galaxy Unpacked event. At the end of the event, the company unveiled this new device and also revealed a glimpse of its design.

Samsung Galaxy Ring Confirmed

Dr. Matthew Wiggings, Digital Health of Samsung Research talked about this product. Dr. told that the company is bringing Samsung Health in a completely new form factor. 

He called it a "powerful and accessible" health and wellness device. A teaser of this ring has also surfaced, in which the ring is shown in silver color. The company has not disclosed any other information about the Galaxy Ring. But it is being said that a patent was filed for this device last year.

Samsung Galaxy Ring Features

Talking about the features, this ring can provide essential tracking and long battery life. 

It may have various types of sensors which will work for health monitoring and its results are likely to be visible on the Samsung Health app. 

You can manage the device using the Galaxy Wearable app. It can offer ECG, PPG tracking and smart home control.

The Galaxy Ring is expected to be more accurate than the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy smartphones in tracking health parameters. 

This is because it remains very close to the body for a long time. Apart from Galaxy phones, this ring is also expected to work with Galaxy watches and XR devices.
