News in english: 27 new metro stations will be built on this line of NCR, Rs 5400 crore will be spent
Metro News: A metro is going to be started in this city of NCR, which will run from inside the city. It will be much easier for millions of people to travel every day. Permission has already been received to build 27 new stations on the Yellow Metro Line, and it is going to start soon.

HR Mandi Bhav News: Gurugram people will soon get the facility of metro to travel in their city. The Central Government has now recognized this project which was stuck for a long time.
Haryana has already approved it. The new metro line will go from Cyber City to HUDA City Centre. Delhi Metro currently goes only till Hooda City Centre. The route to reach Cyber City will be prominent. A diversion will also be taken from this line till Dwarka Expressway.
26 stations will be on the main route and one station will be on the additional line. Thus, a total of 27 stations will be built in the Gurugram Metro project. The entire work is of 28.5 kilometers. In which there is 26,65 km main line and 1.85 km additional line.
Announcing the cost and timing on Wednesday, the central government said the project is targeted to be completed in the next four years and is estimated to cost Rs 5,452.7 crore. New Gurugram will be connected to Old Gurugram by metro. By 2026, 5.34 lakh people will travel on the metro every day. By 2031 it will increase to 7.26 lakh and by 2041 it will increase to 8.81 lakh.
Who will build the station and where
It will be the job of Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation Limited (HMRTC) to start this project. Gurugram Metro will not be anywhere. It will be completely elevated. The names of 26 stations on the main line are as follows:
Hooda City Centre, Sector-45, Cyber Park, Sector-47, Subhash Chowk, Sector-48, Sector-72A, Hero Honda Chowk, Udyog Vihar Phase-6, Sector 10, Sector 37, Basai Village, Sector-9, Sector-7, Sector-4, Sector-5, Ashok Vihar, Sector-3, Bajghera Road, Palam Vihar Extension, Palam Vihar, Sector 23A, Sector 22, Udyog Vihar, Udyog Vihar Phase -5 Dwarka Expressway (Sector 101) will be an additional route.
An HMRC official said that on 13 August 2020, permission has been given to run the metro from Millennium City Center to Cyber City. There is a plan to build 27 stations on the 28.50 km long metro line, for which Rs 5452.72 crore will be spent. On June 7, this year, the Central Government had approved the DPR of this project.
Its written approval was received on 6th July. According to this, the Metro in Old Gurugram will run under a 50-50 joint venture between the Central and Haryana governments. The central government faced administrative problems in entering into a joint venture with HMRTC.
In such a situation, the idea of creating a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) was conceived. Subsequently, on 15 November, the Central Government gave permission for the establishment of Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL). Haryana government is now working on forming a new company.
