Every big company from Apple, Google, Microsoft is using the power of AI to improve their platforms. In this series, Meta is also emphasizing on enhancing the user experience by adding AI features to Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. Recently the company has launched many new AI features, one of which lets you change the background of your Instagram story in a few clicks.

The name of this feature is Background. With its help, you can change the background of your photo as per your choice. For this you will not have to take the help of any photo editing app. 

You just have to say a few words and AI will create a beautiful background for you. This technology is similar to AI platforms like DALL-E or Midjourney.

According to the information, this feature is currently available only for some selected users. But it is expected that it will be extended to all users in the coming weeks. This feature can prove useful for people who are active on Instagram. Let us tell you how this feature is used.

How to use the AI ​​background feature:

1. To use this feature, you will first have to select a photo.
2. After this click on the story icon at the top of the Instagram screen.
3. Here you go to the photo editing screen and tap on the three dots in the upper right corner.
4. Here you will find Background written in the menu, select it.
5. AI will analyze your photo for some time, which includes identifying the background and people.
6. Now you will be asked to select parts of the photo. The part you do not select will not appear in the background.
7. After this click on the Next button.
6. Here you have to write a prompt in English. If you want, you can write in Hindi also.
7. After this, the background of the photo will appear in a checkered pattern, as you might have seen in any photo editing software.
8. After this you will see a text box in which it will be written Describe the backdrop you want. Here you can tell about the decorations in the photo as per your wish. After this click on the Next button.
9. Now AI will create two different background options based on your prompt.
10. Don't worry if you don't like the background! Tap the refresh icon to create another background with the same prompt. 
11. If you want to change the prompt, tap it at the bottom and type a new one.
12. Choose your preferred background and click on Next button.
13. Now your story is ready to be shared. Tap on Your Story to share the photo. Keep in mind that the prompt you gave will be added to the story as a sticker.
