Bihar Highway: The movement of common people is going to be easy with the good roads in Bihar. By January 2025, the construction of four highways of 200 km length between four states will start in Bihar. Also, their construction is estimated to be completed by 2026.
These include Dhoraiya-English Mor-Asarganj SH, Chhapra-Manjhi-Darouli-Ghuthni, Banganga (NH-82), Jethiyan-Gahlor-Bindas (NH-82) road and Ara-Ekouna-Khaira-Sahar road. The estimated cost of building these roads is about two thousand crore rupees.
Raiya-English Bridge-Asarganj Road
According to sources, the length of Dhoraiya-English Mor-Asarganj road is 58.473 km and the estimated cost of its construction is Rs 65050.98 lakh.
With its construction, Banka and Munger will be able to connect with Patna, Jharkhand and West Bengal at a shorter distance. Land acquisition will also be required to build bypass and ROB.
Chhapra-Manjhi: Door-counting
The length of Chhapra-Manjhi-Darauli-Ghuthni highway is 72.183 km. The estimated cost is Rs 70125.89 lakh. This route will connect Chhapra to Mau, Deoria and Gorakhpur passing through the north of Ghaghra river. After its construction, movement between Chhapra, Hajipur and Patna of Bihar from the districts of Uttar Pradesh will be possible.
Jethian-Gahlor-Bindus (NH-82)
The total length of Banganga (NH-82) and Jethiyan-Gehlor-Bindas (NH-82) highways is 41.256 km. The estimated cost for its construction will be Rs 36132.55 lakh. This road will start from Banganga and connect to NH-82 at Bindas via Gehlaur.
Ara-Ekouna-Khaira-Sahar Path
The 32.263 km long Ara-Ekouna-Khaira-Sahar highway. Its estimated cost is 37356.18 lakhs. A feature of this bridge is that it will provide direct connectivity from Arwal district to Ara district. Very little land is required to build this road.
