HR Mandi Bhav News, (MP News): In view of the organization of Simhastha-2028 in Madhya Pradesh and the increasing traffic pressure on Indore-Ujjain Highway, Indore-Ujjain Highway is to be made six lane. The project officials have presented it to Public Works Department Minister Rakesh Singh.
Under the action plan proposed by the Public Works Department, State Highway 59 Indore-Ujjain will be six-lane. It will run from Aurobindo Medical College Gate in Indore to Harifatak intersection in Ujjain at a distance of about 48 km. In this, two big bridges and flyovers will also be built in Ujjain city.
According to preliminary estimates, this work will cost Rs 988 crore. It was said in the meeting that after getting financial approval, the action plan will be presented in the cabinet.
After the financial approval of the action plan, Minister Rakesh Singh instructed the officials to make complete preparations to present it in the cabinet.

The meeting was told that the action plan will be presented to the cabinet after financial approval. According to reports, the state government will spend forty percent of the money on the project, and the construction agency will spend the remaining money.
The construction agency will have to pay the expenses to the state government in installments over a fixed period. Road Development Corporation will collect toll tax.
After in-principle consent, the proposal will be sent for administrative and financial approval. After this, budget provision will be made and tender will be called.
