Dalbir Singh Deol murder Latest News:   A big revelation has come to light in the murder case of DSP Dalbir Singh Deol posted in Punjab Armed Police. It is being told that he was murdered by the auto driver. 

Two bullets were fired from the DSP's pistol, when the first bullet did not hit him, the second bullet was fired into his head. DSP and auto driver drank alcohol together. Due to being drunk, there was an altercation between the two and the driver shot him.

Jalandhar Police had formed a special investigation team under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Investigation) Harvinder Singh Virk to thoroughly investigate the case. The police carefully studied the CCTV footage of that area. Where the incident was carried out. 

Apart from this, in a video of the bus stand where the DSP's acquaintances dropped him after the New Year celebrations, the deceased DSP was also seen hiring an e-rickshaw. A body with multiple injuries including a bullet on the head was found abandoned near a canal in Basti Bawa Khel on the outskirts of Jalandhar city in the morning.

Earlier a case of hit and run was registered

Punjab Police initially proceeded with the case as hit and run. But on Monday, January 1, when the doctors of Jalandhar Civil Hospital dissected the body, it was found that he had been shot at the back of the head. 

DCP Virk said that the investigation is still going on, however, according to the evidence found so far, the section of robbery has also been added. Because he has collected important clues in the case. “Nothing concrete has been revealed yet. We are investigating the matter from all possible angles.

According to the police, the DSP's family had told that his car met with an accident in Jalandhar on December 28. On December 31, the owner of the garage (where the DSP's car was sent for repairs) and another person came to meet him and he came with them to Jalandhar from his village Khojewal in Kapurthala.
