The pilgrimage devotion of Mahamandaleshwar Maheshwaranand Maharaj, the head of Shri Alakhpuri Siddhapeeth tradition, connected people with Sanatan culture and yoga.
Forty years ago, he dreamed it up. When a foreign tourist said that he did not see the Taj Mahal during his visit to India, his trip came to an end. Then he came to Om and thought of building a temple and laid its foundation stone on 23 January 1995 in Jadan.
After continuous work for 28 years, the temple has now completed Om. Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav will be held from 10 February to 19 February. It is the only grand Om shaped temple in the world.
The temple has also created artificial mountains and ponds. The four-storey building, situated on 250 acres, has 108 rooms, which embody the shape of Om. The grand Om shaped temple is made up of 12 Jyotirlingas. There are also 1008 statues of Lord Shiva installed in this temple.
Apart from the Shiva temple, there are also tombs of seven sages here. There is also a four-storey college in this building. The temple building is built in Nagar style.
There is also North Indian architecture. While laying the foundation of the temple spread over a radius of half a kilometer, saints and sages from all over the country came. There are one thousand eight hundred statues of Lord Shiva in the temple. There are 108 rooms in the temple.
The peak of the temple is 135 feet high. There is Shivalinga in the topmost part. There is a shape of the universe on the Shivalinga. The special thing in this temple is that Gulab Bansi of Dholpur and stone of Paharpur have been used in the construction of the ashram.
Hundreds of people from India and abroad will come to the Pran Pratistha Mahotsav starting from 10th February. Separate arrangements have been made for their stay and food. So sweet homes have been built for foreign guests. Three helipads have also been prepared in the ashram.
