Aadhaar Card: Now get PVC Aadhaar card made sitting at home, know this easy process

HR Mandi Bhav, New Delhi: If your or any member of your family's Aadhar card is old or damaged, then you can order a new card at your address with just one mobile number. UIDAI has given this information through a post on its X handle Aadhaar. 

"You can order an Aadhaar PVC card for each member of your family. All you need is one mobile number to receive the OTP for authentication, even if the mobile number registered with your Aadhaar is different," UIDAI wrote in the post. May it also happen."

The base PVC card is brilliantly printed, weather proof and laminated. You can now take it everywhere. The new base is as durable as the plastic card,

It looks attractive and is equipped with the latest security features. Security features will include hologram, guilloché pattern, ghost image and microtext. It will not get spoiled in the rain. 

This is how Aadhaar PVC card will be made

To order Aadhaar PVC card, login to https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/genricPVC with your 12 digit Aadhaar number or 28 digit enrollment number. 

Now fill the security code or captcha and click on Send OTP for OTP.

After this, fill the OTP received on the registered mobile in the given blank space and submit.

Now you will see a preview of the Aadhaar PVC card.

After this you click on the payment option given below.

After this you will go to the payment page, here you will have to deposit a fee of Rs 50.

After completing the payment your Aadhaar PVC card order process will be completed.

After the entire process is completed, UIDAI will print the Aadhaar and hand it over to India Post within five days.

After this the postal department will deliver it to your home through speed post.
