HR Mandi Bhav, Uttar Pradesh News: The first phase of Noida International Airport Jewar, which was spread over an area of ​​1334 hectares, was 80 percent completed. Now Yamuna Authority is ready to start the work of the second phase. In the second phase to expand the airport, the authority will acquire about 1,365 hectares of land from three villages. The people living here will be settled in Falida Bangar and Modelpur.

Yamuna Authority says that the first phase of the airport is almost 80 percent completed. The runway has also been completed. Air service will start from 29th September. In such a situation, the authority is now trying to expand the airport under the second phase.

In the second phase, the airport will acquire 1365 hectares of land. This land of Hukumsingh, Ranhera and Kuraib towns will be acquired. The authority has planned to settle about 12 and a half thousand families living here in Modelpur and Flanda Bangar. The authority will construct flats and provide them to these villagers.

Aviation hub and logistics park will be built

A logistics park and aviation hub is to be built in the second phase. A manufacturing unit related to aircraft parts will be set up here. Besides this, there will also be a variety of other industrial units. 

Also, some additional runways will also be built, which will increase the number of aircraft. It has been told that only 50 to 60 aircraft will be able to take off daily on the runway starting in September. Once the second phase is completed, more than a hundred aircraft will be able to fly here.

The area of ​​the first phase of the airport is 1334 hectares.
About 12 lakh passengers will be able to fly from here every year.
There will be movement of 96,400 flights every year.
2,49,600 tonnes of cargo will be able to move through here every year.
The area of ​​the terminal building being built in the first phase will be 1,01,590 square meters.
The first runway will be 3,900 meters long.

After the elections, Yamuna Authority CEO Dr. Arunveer Singh said that the land acquisition process of the second phase will begin. Preparations for this have started. The airport will be constructed in four phases.
