Farmers have to follow them. If these rules made by the government are ignored, the tractor owner may have to face legal action along with a hefty fine.

Shahjahanpur's sub-divisional officer Shanti Bhushan said that most of the tractors are registered for agricultural purposes. These are used for agricultural purposes. If the tractor trolley is used for any business, then action can be taken against the tractor owner. Under this, the farmer may have to pay a fine of up to ₹ 100000.

Giving information, Deputy Divisional Officer Shanti Bhushan Pandey said that those who use tractor trolley commercially, they will need to have overloading fitness and permit. If they are not found to be doing so, they may have to face a big fine. If overloaded goods are filled in the tractor trolley even while doing farming work, then a fine can be levied.

Further explaining, he said that if along with farming work, passengers are also carried in a tractor trolley, then a fine of ₹2200 per passenger will be charged from the tractor owner. He said that passengers cannot be carried in any unauthorized vehicle.

Giving information, the transport officer said that if any change is made in the basic structure of the tractor, then a fine of up to ₹ 100000 can be imposed on the tractor owner.

Driving license required

The transport officer said that a driving license is required to drive a vehicle. Similarly, a driving license is required to drive a tractor as well. A tractor can be driven directly with a light motor vehicle license. Vehicles weighing up to 7500 kg can be driven with a light motor vehicle license.

The official said that if a farmer uses a tractor trolley, he will have to get the trolley registered. If the trolley is not being operated according to the rules, then the trolley can be seized and the farmer may have to pay a fine.
