So that diseases and insects do not grow in the crop. Use improved varieties and seeds for sowing. This reduces the possibility of crop disease. Use 28 to 30 kg seed rate per acre for sowing.

How much water is needed

Peanut crop depends only on rain, hence it is also called a water saving crop. Before heavy rains, arrange for drainage in the field so that water does not fill the crop. Filling of water in the peanut crop increases the possibility of pests and diseases. In case of less rainfall, irrigation as per requirement is very important.

Use of organic fertilizers and medicines

A lot of weeds grow in the peanut crop, which affects the growth of the plant and the quality of the yield. Use organic pesticides as per the need at an interval of every 15 days.
