Bonus For Farmers: 12 lakh farmers had fun before 2024... got Rs 3716 crore, state government gave bonus gift

Chhattisgarh government transferred Rs 3,716 crore as bonus to the accounts of 12 lakh farmers on the occasion of the birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

HR Mandi Bhav: Agriculture News: Many schemes are being run by the Central Government and State Government for the farmers across the country. Before the new year, a lottery has been held for the farmers of Chhattisgarh state. Now the state government has transferred the outstanding paddy bonus of Rs 3,716 crore. 

Chhattisgarh government transferred Rs 3,716 crore as bonus to the accounts of 12 lakh farmers on the occasion of the birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Officials said that Chhattisgarh government has fulfilled the promise of Modi's guarantee on the occasion of Good Governance Day.

He said that Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, in a program organized today in Bendri village of Abhanpur assembly constituency, distributed Rs 3,716 crore as bonus to more than 12 lakh farmers of the state for the outstanding paddy of two years (Kharif marketing year 2014-15 and 2015-16). An amount of Rs crore has been transferred to his bank account. During the assembly elections in the state, BJP had decided to give the outstanding bonus amount to the farmers.

Will buy paddy at the rate of 21 quintals per acre

On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai said that he will purchase paddy from farmers in the state at the rate of 21 quintals per acre. If necessary, the period for purchasing paddy at support price will also be extended. 

He said that under Modi's guarantee, we had promised to pay two years' outstanding bonus and it has been completed today on Atal ji's birth anniversary, Good Governance Day. Not only the state, the entire country has trusted Modi's guarantee.

The state government fulfilled its promises

He has said that today is a very historic day. Whatever promises we have made to the people of the state, all those promises will be fulfilled. 

The Chief Minister has said that in the cabinet meeting the very next day after taking oath, we approved the construction of 18 lakh houses for the poor. This will provide housing to those people who were deprived of housing in the last five years.

Had promised to give Rs 1000 to women

Sai has said that we have promised that every month one thousand rupees will be given in the accounts of married women under Mahtari Vandan Yojana. For this also we have made provision in the supplementary budget. 

Under the Ujjwala scheme, we will also work on providing cylinders for Rs 500 to gas card holding families. Will work to provide ten thousand rupees a year to landless agricultural laborers. One lakh vacant posts of various departments will be filled with complete transparency.

Rs 10 lakh will be given for treatment

The Chief Minister has said that our government will pay remuneration to tea leaf collectors at the rate of Rs 5,500 per standard bag. Along with this, other beneficial schemes including Charan Paduka will be continued for the collectors. 

Say said that the people of the state will now be able to get the facility of treatment up to Rs 10 lakh instead of Rs 5 lakh in the Ayushman card.
