Digital Desk New Delhi,  After the decision of the Supreme Court, now there will be no problem regarding the registration of old lands in Bihar. According to the new rules issued regarding registration, now the new generation in Bihar can easily sell their father's grandfather's land.
This order of the Supreme Court has to be followed

. In the letter issued, all the District Magistrates, District Sub-Registrars and Sub-Registrars have been directed to follow the order passed by the Supreme Court on 13th May while hearing against the decision of Patna High Court. The land documents have to be registered by following it 100%.

Supreme Court stays High Court order

Let us tell you that while hearing on February 06, Patna High Court had ordered that only the person in whose name the land is registered can register the land. In such a situation, the son and grandson could not sell the land registered in the name of grandfather or father.

Regarding this, many people filed an appeal petition in the Supreme Court, after hearing which the Supreme Court stayed the order of the High Court and fixed the date of 24 September 2024 for the final hearing.

This rule was implemented for the first time.

To prevent fraud in land registration, the state government implemented the rule for the first time on October 10, 2019. Then many petitions were filed against it in the High Court. The court stayed the government's decision on October 25 within 15 days.

After hearing the case going on since then, the court declared the government's decision correct on February 09, 2024 and ordered its implementation. After this, the government implemented it by issuing a letter on February 22.
