Due to this, the income of farmers is doubling. Let us tell you that in Kaushambi district, Sebia guava is also called the apple of the poor. Till now people knew this guava as Allahabadi Sebia guava but now people know it as Kaushambi Sebia.

Due to the extremely fertile land in the district, there are lots of possibilities for farming and horticulture. There are many such villages in the district, where farmers have become millionaires by cultivating guava.

However, according to Rewa's Agricultural Research Center Kuthuliya, more than 80 species of guava are cultivated across the district. But, Allahabadi Safeda guava is cultivated the most in Rewa. Farmers of Reethi, Barrehi, Raipur, Belwa villages of Rewa supply Allahabadi Safeda guava to Delhi, UP and Chhattisgarh.

Guavas also go to other states

Sant Kumar Singh, a farmer of Barehi village of Rewa, said that till now he has sold guavas worth crores. Apart from Madhya Pradesh, traders from Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh also come to buy their guavas.

Traders from places like Prayagraj, Mau, Manikpur, Chitrakoot, Mirzapur, Banda, Kaushambi, Sonbhadra, Anpara etc. compete here.

There is a huge demand for Allahabadi Safeda guava from Sant Kumar's garden. Apart from this, many types of guavas are there in Sant Kumar's garden.

Similarly, other farmers of the district, Mitesh Dev Singh, Byaghr Dev Singh and Amlesh Patel also cultivate Allahabadi Safeda on a large scale. The annual income of all these farmers is in lakhs of rupees.
